HOLY COW...IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME...
Sorry again!! This seems to be a trend of mine blogging about once a month or so. Well anyway. Kids and I just got back from 9 days in Illinois. That was a nice visit with family. Now getting them back to the real life of waking up early and trying to get them to bed at a decent hour.
Kaitlyn well everyday is something new...very outspoken. Which I like....sometimes...ha ha. She definitely lets you know what is on her mind. The other day she started using her Spanish skills on me. Maybe too much Dora but I guess it could be worse. I gave her some cookies and I got "yacias" mommy. I said it's "gracias" baby and she said yes mommy "yacias." LOL!!! Then I was asking her a question and asked her to listen to me and apparently Kai Lan has made an impression as well because I got the reply of "Ting Ting" with her little hands pulled up to her ears as if she was listening to me. So we certainly have to watch was we say because if we think she is not listening well she saves it for later and pulls it out at the most awkward times.
Lucas is Mr. Laidback!! He just goes with the flow. Whatever we have going on it's ok with him. He smiles constantly and just very low maintenance. He is quite a hoot. He is starting to sit up by himself and hasn't quite got the going forward thing on crawling but he lunges and plops. Now scooting backwards and in circles that is great. It's only a matter of time.
Well I will try to get some pictures posted soon.

What's going on today....
Right now...Saturday August 8th at 3:24 p.m., both kids are sleeping.....shhhhhh. Can you believe it I have mastered the art of getting them both to nap at the same time. Well it happens once in a blue moon anyway.
Brandon is on a poker run today with about 8 of his buddies. This will be poker run #3 or 4 I think.... Well anyway I am finding that they are very interesting poker runs here in Georgia, they seem to have stops such as churches, Dairy Queen, a hospital...we are wondering of the next one will be a funeral home. These are not the same kind of poker runs we had in Illinois where they would start at a bar & the next 3 stops would either be a bar or a cycle shop. But they have a good time none the less and get to meet some very very interesting folks.
I've not been up to too much really just working and being a mom. Kaitlyn is changing everyday. It is so crazy. She really talks alot and has a 1 track mind. You really have to pay close attention so you can know when she shifts gears and just what she is talking about. She loves Dora. I think she is starting to dream about Dora and her adventures because she woke up the other day and told me that she had to ride on the horse with Boots to go save Dora's brother and sister from the Gooey Geyser. She is quite a hoot!!
Lucas is growing like a weed. Rolling over very well and scooting himself across the floor and around in circles. He has not mastered the art of putting both knees and hands on the floor at the same time. He either scoots on his head or pulls himself with his hands. But it won't be long and he will on the move.
Well gonna go get some things dones while both kiddos are sleeping!! Or maybe just close my eyes too!!!
